WALL SCULPTURES

Thirteen years from idea to realization, the Ribbons concept is unique and versatile, capable of playful or formal resolution. In 2005, the Hines Corporation commissioned RIBBONS, A Homage to Meis van der Rohe. The sculpture occupies an elevator lobby wall, enlivening the austere geometries of the architecture. Also featured are models of other applications of the concept that employ different metal finishes and configurations.
